Songs on the chart are chosen for airplay based on their popularity with listeners, their relevance to contemporary bluegrass, overall performance quality and their "fit" with the sound of Bluegrass Junction. Donna keeps a busy schedule at IBMA 2008
On September 29, 2008, the Nashville Convention Center filled up with bluegrass musicians, fans and industry folks for a week of jamming, formal showcases, educational panels and networking.Donna began the week on Monday spending some time in her booth and doing a live interview and performance with producer Keith Sewell at the WAMU Radio on-site studio with Lee Michael Demsey. She ended the day with an off-site bluegrass songwriter's round she was invited to participate in by organizer and songwriter John Pennell. (look on any Alison Krauss & Union Station CD and you will most likely see his name under some of the songwriting credits) The round was at the Commodore Lounge at the Holiday Inn West End and included Jerry Salley and Jeff White.

Donna's booth at IBMA WOB 2008
Thanks to Donna's father Jimmy Ulisse, she had a fabulous booth at IBMA World of Bluegrass this year! She happened to mention to her father that since the photo shoot for her new CD was taken on an old wrap around front porch that it would be neat to have the booth resemble a front porch and look what he dreamed up and drove down to Nashville! Donna spent every moment possible in the booth when she was not performing or doing interviews and was able to visit with DJs and industry people as well as fans that she met last year and make many new friends.
