Donna & Louisa Branscomb to present Co-Writing Workshop at IBMA Conference
Donna and Louise Branscomb will be presenting a workshop on co-writing at this year's IBMA World of Bluegrass Conference held at the Nashville Convention Center from Sept. 26-29, 2011. Donna and Louise recently have co-written together and also collaborated on a songwriter workshop at Podunk Bluegrass Festival in E. Hartford, CT when Louisa led a writing workshop on the day before Donna arrived and then Donna joined the workshop to contribute and help finish the song they had started as a group and perform it on stage with The Poor Mountain Boys.

No Depression chooses "Her Heart Is A Stone Hard Ground" as feature video
The popular Roots Music online community site "No Depression" recently chose Donna's performance of this song as a feature video on the site out of the many videos that are uploaded onto the site daily. The song was co-written by Donna, Marc Rossi and Irish singer songwriter Ben Glover and is on the new release "An Easy Climb" The video was shot at the end of a long day of recording the new album.

A glimpse into Donna's songwriting world
Craig Havighurst of String Theory Media recently spent some time with his cameras like a fly on the wall with Donna and her co-writers Kerry Chater and Lynn Gillespie Chater as they reminisced about how they began writing together, what their writing process is and how they wrote the song "Where The Cold Wind Blows" which is on the new CD "An Easy Climb". There was also alot of genuine laughter.
