Donna and The Poor Mountain Boys are looking forward to playing this locally owned coffeehouse, cafe, and listening room. They book some of the best names in bluegrass and acoustic music. Donna will do two shows with a short intermission in between.

They offer a large selection of Fair Trade and USDA-certified organic coffees, in addition to homemade soups, sandwiches, delectable sweet desserts, wholesome breakfast treats, and a delicious selection of microbrews and wines.

Donna Ulisse and The Poor Mountain Boys will be playing two shows on March 27, 2010 at this annual festival. There will be a set of approximately 45 minutes in the afternoon and another one in the evening. As soon as we have definite times we will post them on this site. Donna will be taping this nationally syndicated PBS concert series for the second time but this will be the first time she will be doing it with her own band, The Poor Mountain Boys. The show is taped before a live audience in a beautifully restored historical theater. When we find out who the other guests on the show will be, we will post it here. Bluegrass DJ Tim White is the host and producer of the show.
This will be Donna's first time playing the June Turkey Track Festival. She and The Poor Mountain Boys will play two shows on the 18th of June. We will post show times here as soon as we have them.

Donna returns to the stage where she first sang in front of an audience in public. (read her story about it in her online journal of this website) Donk's Theater is referred to as Home of Virginia's L'il Ole Opry and features some of the finest local and regional Virginian talent as well as touring acts. This should be a real special night for Donna playing this venue again!
Join Donna and The Poor Mountain Boys for their first time playing this major festival in the southeast. This will be the 7th annual Red White and Bluegrass Festival that runs for 4 days each year from July to July 4. On the day of Donna's appearance the lineup will be: Pickin' On The Greenway, Sweet Potato Pie, Jeanette Williams, Dale Ann Bradley, Larry Sparks, Balsam Range and Mountain Heart with Tony Rice. The Purple Fiddle Cafe, Brews and Stage is a family-friendly and non-smoking music venue and deli-style restaurant.
