Donna Ulisse and her band The Poor Mountain Boys will perform the music from her landmark song cycle All The Way To Bethlehem which was released in 2012. The show will be streamed from Catch This Music studios on Music Row in Nashville, TN.
Although inspired by the Biblical accounts of Christ's birth, All The Way To Bethlehem is not a "Christmas album" in any conventional sense of the term. Rather, it is a dramatic story told in song %u2212 much like such other Bible-based musical productions as Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ulisse and her band perform the full album, with band members sharing the scriptures which inspired each song and Donna sharing how the scriptures moved her and affected her approach in the writing of each song.

Blogger Ted Lehmann wrote this about Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival on his blog:
"Located conveniently just off I-40 at the exit for Sevierville, it combines a convenient setting, indoor stage in what was once a milking parlor for the dairy farm that once produced on the property, full hookup sites as well as water and electric, and plenty of rough camping. Festival promoters Joe and Mitzi Soward are warm and welcoming hosts. Coming back to Dumplin Valley each year feels a lot like a family reunion."
Donna and the band are thrilled to have been asked back for a second year in a row!
